With dual qualifications in Italy (ODCEC, TEP) and England (ICAEW, TEP), he is a lecturer at SDA Bocconi – School of Management, where he teaches estate planning and other finance-related subjects.
Luigi is an academician at The International Academy of Estate and Trust Law (TIAETL) and the Technical Co-chair of the AIPB commission ‘The Private Banker for Entrepreneurs and Growth’. He is also a member of the International Fiscal Association (IFA), STEP – Advising families across generations (he chaired the Italian chapter from 2018 to 2022), Family Firm Institute (FFI), The Worshipful Company of Tax Advisers (WoCoTA) – City of London, the International Barrister Association (IBA) and the Association “The Trust in Italy”.
His expertise includes wealth planning for entrepreneurial families, individuals, trusts and family offices, governance and succession issues, taxation, corporate reorganisation and exceptional financing.
Luigi is the author of numerous articles and books and is a regular speaker at university courses and seminars, as well as technical seminars, for Il Sole 24 Ore and Trusts & Trustees (Oxford University Press), for which he is the Italian correspondent.
